So, here's what happened. I thought that blogging would be a good idea for me to get some creativity out there, keep my writing skills sharp, and maybe - just maybe - become an interwebz celebrity by relating humourous anecdotes and witty commentaries on my life, perhaps even a few politically inspiring diatribes. Hey, I can have aspirations, right?
That is why starting a blog became my first, real, actual, genuine New Year's resolution. I promised myself that I would write one blog a week, about any topic, and I have actually been keeping notes for potential blog ideas. Now it's April and I owe myself fifteen blogs. Make that fourteen because of the one I posted earlier. Well that's not as bad as I originally thought, but still it's been fifteen weeks and I haven't managed more than what you see here. BUT I AM TRYING.
So, I am going to try to have at least one blog a week, perhaps even one a day if you're lucky, or rather if something worth writing down for others happens to me and I actually manage to turn it into a blog. It helps when you read them, though, so I feel motivated to go on. I know this is my resolution, but just knowing that someone's looking over my shoulder does help with the motivation. You know what I mean, right? Sure you do. That's probably why you're reading my blog.
